Hello,

We are going to use the LMK04828 fed by this really stable OXCO with the following output:

RF Output Signal Sinewave@ 100 MHz Load 50 Ohms

Output Power +9.0 +13.0 dBm 50 Ohm load

Harmonics -30 dBc 50 Ohm

load Spurious -80 dBc 50 Ohm load

We have been reading there are problem with the slew rate with sine wave input for clock reference. In the case of the output power we were thing of adding a 3 dB Pi attenuator to fit under the 2.4 Vpp of the LMK04828 input.

¿ Is this input compatible with the IC? ¿Do we have to take another consideration?

Umberto,

There should be no problem with a sine wave input at 100MHz, we frequently use a sine wave generator at 100MHz in the lab for the LMK04828 in our own testing. Could you please point me to where you read about the risks?
