USB-REDRIVER-EVM: Documentation for USB-REDRIVER-EVM doesn't match board

Hi,

I am looking to design my own USB3.0 redriver for our application. I have tried out the INT038 USB-REDRIVER-EVM and it works well in our system.

However, the documentation does not match the layout on the board.

The photo is correct and my board looks like that.

I assume the board has been updated. Is there an up to date datasheet for the board?

Hi Gary,

Thanks for reaching out. We don't have an updated User's Guide for this EVM, however I see the inconsistency in the layout images.

Here are the latest images I've been able to find for that board.

Hi Shane,

Thanks for posting the latest layout. Is the board now 4 layers rather than the 6 before? I see VBUS is a track now rather than a plane layer.

Is there a schematic to go with it? Main components look the same (TUSB501, TUSB211 and LP5907-3.3).

I will probably upgrade to TUSB211A.

Yes, this board is 4 layers.

The schematic looks the same as in the EVM User's guide. Let me add the schematic file here as well: INT038A_schematic.pdf
