Is there any TI RS-422 transceiver that meets the IEC61000-4-4 (Fast Transient Burst: 2kV)?

Customer is looking for RS-422 transceiver like ADM202E.

    Hello Hidetoshi,

    the ADM202E is a RS-232 dual tranceiver. Are you looking for a RS-422 tranceiver or a RS-232 tranceiver?
    TI has no IEC61000-4-4 compliant RS-422 in its portfolio. The RS-422 tranceivers with the highest IEC rating are the SN65C1167E and SN65C1168E.

    If you are interested in a RS-485 tranceiver ( they can be used as RS-422 tranceivers), you might take a look at the SN65HVD147x family or the SN65HVD01.

    We have IEC61000-4-2 devices, but they haven't been tested for IEC61000-4-4.
    Which is the desired device, how big is the opportunity, and what is the timeline?
