Just got the TPIC8101 eval board with the Tiger Communication Board. Connected TPIC8101EVM to "Tiger Communication Board". Connected USB cable to Tiger board.
Plugged in the USB to a PC running Windows 7 PRO.
Got the obligatory Windows acknowledgement that the driver was successfully installed. Device Manager shows an HID Compliant device was added.
Noticed that LED on Tiger board never turned on.
Launched TPIC8101 GUI software.
Got series of messages in consecutive windows like this: "ERROR-TIGER:*** WRITE to USB --HID--***Command = 0xB" "ERROR-TIGER:*** WRITE to USB --HID--***Command = 0x44" "ERROR-TIGER:*** WRITE to USB --HID--***Command = 0x47". After clicking OK in each window with the error messages then GUI appeared but "Status : Connecting...." with a button grayed out, labelled "FIND AND CONNECT TO Tiger"
No 5V present on TPIC8101EVM board even though jumper JP1 is installed.
