Hi team,
My customer had a design with TS3DV642 to switch between LVDS and eDP and the operation is fine.
Now they want to extend the application to switch between DP++1.2 and eDP as shown below. Could you please comment if TS3DV642 is suitable for the application? Thanks!

You would need to AC couple the DP++ main link output. For the EDID_DATA and EDID_CLK, is this the DDC bus or the AUX bus that supports I2C-over-AUX?
Thanks
David
Hi David,
Thanks for your feedback.
In current design, the EDID_DATA and EDID_CLK will be the AUX bus that supports I2C-over-AUX.
Is there any potential issue for this application?
Thanks
Sincerely,
Edward

Please make sure the AUX bus is AC-coupled and have the 100k pullup/pulldown on it. Do you want me to review the schematic?
Thanks
David
Hi David,
It would be kind of you to help review the schematic.
I will issue the ticket and sent it to you.
Thanks
Sincerely,
Edward
