Hi TI Team,
Is the XIP functionality is now supported on AM2634?
As currently without XIP the program size can't go beyond ~2MB OCRAM., is there any plan to support XIP for AM2634 or is there any particular micro controller available in AM263x which supports XIP or have capability to have a larger executable.

HI Bikash
The expert is looking into it. will gat back to you soon.

Sri Vidya
I have found below information on AM263P also. This is a future device which will have XIP mode support.
Hi Srividya,
Thank you for your reply.
Is there a datasheet or TRM available for the AM263P microcontroller ?
also please let us know if there is an evaluation board available with AM263P microcontroller?
Hi Blkash,
The preliminary version of DS for AM263P is expected to be available later in 2023.
Best regards,
Ming
Hi Ming,
Thanks for your reply.
If we do some software development based on the AM2634 evaluation board, will it be easily migratable to AM263P ?
currently is there some info available if AM263P will be pin to pin compatible with AM2634? and differences between this 2 microcontrollers?

Hi Blkash,
The AM263P is pin compatible to AM263x with exception of the HW resolver (a new IP added to AM263P) which will use the pins from a RGMII on AM263x. The major addition to the AM263P is the Optiflash which not only make the XIP from flash possible but also increase the flash performance significantly. TMU is another IP addition to the AM263P.
Best regards,
Ming
Hi Ming,
As per earlier communications on this ticket AM263P was supposed to be available by Q1-2023, but I can't find anything related to this micro yet, Is the AM263P micro is now available ?
Hi Blaksh,
I mentioned the following in previous post:
"The preliminary version of DS for AM263P is expected to be available later in 2023.". It is the preliminary version of AM263P Datasheet, not the actual silicon.
Best regards
Ming
