MSPM0G3507: IPD on MSPM0G-DRV8323RS GUI not working

Part Number: MSPM0G3507
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LVSERVOMTR

Tool/software:

Hello,

So I did find another GUI on the gallery:

https://dev.ti.com/gallery/view/TIMSPGC/MSPM0G-DRV8323RS-EVM-GUI/ver/1.0.1/

This one seems to have its own firmware associated? Which firmware is this in the SDK? Also is there a tuning guide for this one? I consistently hit the overcurrent fault until I changed the CSA gain to "3" in the GUI. What does the 3 correspond to? What's supposed to be the correct value for the DRV8323RS and the LVSERVOMTR? I was able to get the GUI working, albeit right now the motor runs backwards because there is no hookup guide for the LVSERVOMTR.

But my big issue with this GUI is that in IPD, no matter the settings I've tried, the motor stays stuck in IPD and is sinking a LOT of current to where my power supply is hitting overcurrent and the voltage is actually dropping from 18V to about 10V at 10A.

I've tried a couple different tweaks like changing the IPD frequency, and the IPD thresh count, but nothing seems to work and the motor rotor is locked.

Any help here would be appreciated.
