Tool/software:
Hi ,
We are developing ASIL-D project with AM2634-Q1 process and we are using the 10.0.0 thats built on top of 9.1.0 (thats safety certified).
We are not seeing ESM driver in the MCAL delivery. We see ESM source files, examples are part of mcu_plus_sdk_am263x_09_00_00_35\source\sdl though.
But ESM should be part of certified MCAL right ?
How do we go about integrating ESM in our project , while we are using the safety certified AUTOSAR APIs from MCAL already.
Any feedback on this ?
Regards
Sunil
Hello Sunil,
ESM is provided as part of functional safety diagnostics library (SDL). You can refer these links provided to you through email chain regarding this topic.
ESM documentation and API guide are available as part of MCU+SDK.
SDL documentation too is available in MCU+SDK.
Thanks,
Gunjan
Hi Gunjan, thank you for the info. Just to confirm, we can go ahead and use ESM from the safety diagnostics library (SDL) and integrate with rest of the MCAL in our AUTOSAR project right ? I was only concerned that this did not arrive with the MCAL package 9.1.0 which is FuSa certified.
Hello Sunil,
ESM does not come with MCAL package, but you can integrate it. ESM is also FuSa certified.
Thanks,
Gunjan
