LP-AM243: running reset_isolation_ipc_ewm safety driver example on Lp-am243 device

I want to debug the reset_isolation_ipc_ewm SDK sample project with the lp-am243 device. Shortly after the Main method, the m4 core gives an error and goes into disconnected state. (I couldn't get a picture because it changed very quickly) When I try to Connect again, I get the error in the picture.

Is it possible to run this example on my device? What kind of configuration I need to change? In this example it sends reset with a button, is address of this button same in both of EVM and LP devices??

Hello Kadir,

You can't load the M4F example from the debugger for this Reset Isolation example, Since the M4F PSC module is disabled with the debugIsolationEnable = 1 flag .

If you want to load an M4F example from the debugger, this debugIsolationEnable flag should be 0 .

This example runs on EVM and this SW is available on the EVM and the corresponding interrupt number of SW is configured in the example.

If you try to run this example on LP devices, you have to see if there there is any user SW that is available on the LP devices, and you can configure the same SW pin in the EVM example and compile it and load it.

Actually, in MCU+SDK we do support different examples for LP and EVM devices.

If a user wants to run EVM for example on LP devices, users need to change it according to user requirements .

Another question;

In reset isolation example we can access Main domain reset pin with this GPIO configuration below;

HwiP_Params_init(&resetHwiParams);
resetHwiParams.intNum = 25;
resetHwiParams.callback = resetReqIsr;
resetHwiParams.isPulse = 0;
HwiP_construct(&resetObject, &resetHwiParams);

It works for both board lp-am243 and am243 evm since "Main reset" button is in the same GPIO address (Pin 25)
Question 1: Could you please share where to you find pin number is 25 in reference manual.

In the code of main domain, I think user button is using with this following configuration below;

pinNum = GPIO_PUSH_BUTTON_PIN;
intrNum = Board_getGpioButtonIntrNum();
bankNum = GPIO_GET_BANK_INDEX(pinNum);

Here the address of evm and lp boards for user button is different so I need to reconfigure it. Please share how to find correct name and pin number.
