TMS570LC4357: SECDED diagnostic result discrepancy

Hi.

We still have issue with SECDED diagnostic test as defined in reference manual at chapter 7.7.4.

We have no corresponding valuesy between content of adress stored in RCR_VALUE0/1 registers and either address specified in RM (0xF0080140)

or even given in the forum thread already talking about equivalent issue (0xF0080148)

We got RCR_VALUE_1 = 0x000003ff and RCR_VALUE0 = 0xffffffff

We found no such content in OTP adresses close to the ones given in RM. (we use Rev B version of TMS)

Sylvain,

The reset configuration word is defined to be of 42 bits. The remaining bits of the 64-bit word are not implemented and read as zeros.

So the sequence to test SECDED logic during implicit reads should be to read 64 bits from 0xF0080140, mask out the upper 22 bits of the higher-order word, and then compare to the RCR_VALUE register contents.
