Hi,

I am using hvkit_rev1p1 with control card TMDSCNCD28069MISO RELEASE 0.4 and motorware_1_01_00_14 project.

An error occurred when RUN flag set in the GUI

Here is a Screenshot This is creating a big trouble and I am not able to test the system

I am using CCS v5.5

please help me it's urgent

Hi Sameer,

Either there's an issue with XDS100 driver or the emulator itself. As per our previous conversation, I feel there's some driver conflict! Can you tru uninstalling the XDS drivers from Device manager and reloading the same?

Yes, after uninstalling XDS drivers from device manager same error occurred...

Can you check the voltages in and around the emulator and compare the same with the schematics of the board?

Hello sir,

As per our previous discussion after checking the voltages ,The Input voltage of emulator is OK and C18 and C19 showing 3.279V, 1.93V respectively but the expected voltage for C19 is 1.8V (According to sch.)

That's strange as it has to be very near 1.8V. Also, you mentioned something about RUN flag... so if you clear the RUN flag does the debugger connect properly?

Hello sir,

After setting the RUN flag the error occurred then I am not able to clear the RUN flag... in below GUI image you can see after error GUI not working...

whenever this error occurred two blue LED on the control card gets turned ON

I am facing following error
C28xx: Error: (Error -150 @ 0x0) One of the FTDI driver functions used during configuration returned a invalid status or an error. (Emulation package 5.1.232.0)
C28xx: Unable to determine target status after 20 attempts
C28xx: Failed to remove the debug state from the target before disconnecting. There may still be breakpoint op-codes embedded in program memory. It is recommended that you reset the emulator before you connect and reload your program before you continue debugging

This means either your emulator is disconnected or faulty. So please check the connections and jumpers thoroughly. If still you're unable to get it working get the kit replaced.

Hello Sir,
Switch positions on the control card is
SW1: Upward position
SW2: Downward position
SW3: Upward position
Is this switch positions correct?
and when I debug the program the LED on the control card blinking that means emulator not faulty but after setting the RUN flag error comes..

Sameer please refer the datasheet of your device and schematic of the above board for switch positioning.

Can you try a different USB cable (ideally one with a ferrite built in)?
