Hi,
How to change EMDC setting for AC Mains Frequency from 50 Hz to 60 Hz
In our project with MSP4306779A with TI Energy Measurement Design Center version 1_30_00_00.
we found that when we change setting AC Mains Frequency from 50 Hz to 60 Hz, the accuracy is a little bit inaccurate.
So, I would like to confirm question following.
1) How to change EMDC setting for support AC Mains Frequency 60 Hz?.
2) Is our EMDC setting correct (Change only AC Mains Frequency and IIR Minimum/Maximum Frequency)?.
3) Are there another parameters we need to change?
50 Hz Project Setting:
EMDC basic parameters
Sampling Frequency (Hz): 4096
Oversampling Rate (OSR): 256
SMCLK Frequency (Hz): 25165824
AC Mains Frequency (Hz): 50
Number of Voltage Sensors: 1
Number of Current Sensors: 2
Advanced Software Parameters
Per Phases Startup Current (mA):14
Total Phases Startup Current (mA):14
Impulses per kWh:1000
Pulse Duration:20
IIR Minimum Frequency:49
IIR Maximum Frequency:51
IIR Step Size:101
60 Hz Project Setting:
EMDC basic parameters
Sampling Frequency (Hz): 4096
Oversampling Rate (OSR): 256
SMCLK Frequency (Hz): 25165824
AC Mains Frequency (Hz): 60
Number of Voltage Sensors: 1
Number of Current Sensors: 2
Advanced Software Parameters
Per Phases Startup Current (mA):14
Total Phases Startup Current (mA):14
Impulses per kWh:1000
Pulse Duration:20
IIR Minimum Frequency:58
IIR Maximum Frequency:62
IIR Step Size:101

I think you can try the example code:
About the accuracy problem, please check whether you have do the calibration.
