I am unsuccessfully trying to run the LED Flashing app on a MSP-TS430RGC64USB board using the MSP-FET430UIFJTAG.
When I conect the MSP-FET430UIF the red light blink tree times and then turns off and the green light turn on.
According to MSP430 Hardware Tools User's Guide (1.15 Hardware Installation, MSP-FET430UIF) says that it work fine .
But in Device Manager don't appear any device connected as MSP-FET430UIF or similar. Then I can't follow the MSP FET430UIF User's Guide to install drivers manually from the IAR folder.
I install IAR workbench software and work fine with a MSP-FET430IF but when I try to debug and download the code with MSP-FET430UIF
IAR show the following message:
Fatal error: Failed to initialize.
Check if hardware is connected.
Check if drivers are installed.
Try to restart the computer.
Tools using the parallel port are not supported on Windows Vista Session aborted!
