MSP-FET: Inject while RAM/register-based while loop to test watchdog on a running device

Hi, 

I need to test the correct working of the watchdog on a MSP430F2132.

My approach would be to connect with the MSP-FET430UIF, load a minimal while loop in ram then update R0, SP and let the watchdog expire. 

I don't understand how I can set the PC and SP using the MSP430Flasher and MSP-FET USB programmer. I understand that the flag -a -n are needed but then?

I assume the -w would detect the sector from the TI-txt or the HEX file, but then how do I execut the code?

Ideally I would not need to upload ram code but just to write data directly into registers. 

Any hint on this? Furthermore Is the MSP-FET430UIF debugger the right tool to use?
