Hi Team,

1. We are using the programming kit P/N MSP-FET430UIF to program this P/N MSP430FR2676TPT controller. Currently, the P/N MSP-FET430UIF programming kit is obsolete. Can we use the alternate programmer kit P/n MSP-FET to program the P/n MSP430FR2676TPT controller?

2. With this P/N MSP-FET programmer kit having a short cable on the output side, what is the maximum distance of cable it will support for programming?

    Hello ABIHISHEK,

    You can use the MSP-FET to program your MCU. You can see the MSP-FET as the update version of MSP-FET430UIF. The MSP-FET support the JTAG, SBW and SWD. About the maximum distance supported by different debug protocols, maybe you need to research it through Google.

    Cable length is related to SBW / JTAG frequency / speed. Longer cable can be used with lower interface speed, shorter cable with faster. Three speeds are supported by msp430.dll and FET firmware.
