CCS/MSP430F1101: Does CCS on Linux support the MSP-FET debug probe?

On this page the most recent MPS430 probe mentioned as supported is the MSP-FET430UIF. My question is whether the current MSP-FET probe for sale by TI is fully supported by CCS on Linux for debugging and programming MSP430F* chips?

    Hello Pete,

    Yes, the MSP-FET is supported in Linux. Please see the MSP Debugger's User Guide, Table 1. Debug Probes Features and Device Compatibility (http://www.ti.com/lit/slau647 ) for a full list of debuggers and where they are supported.

    Thanks for the quick reply! You've enabled another sale, but I'll tell all my friends too. :-)
    But on this subject, how do I file a real bug report to get the out of date CCS documentation fixed? Or can I assume somebody has already filed that?

    Hello Pete,

    If you are referencing a particular document, you can post it here and I can get that feedback to the right place if needed. It could be the document you are referencing is replaced by a newer version or different documentation. That being said, if its a document that is in PDF form, we usually have alink on the bottom left side of each page that says "Submit document feedback" that will get it to the right people.
