Part Number: MSP432P401R
Hi,
I am new to TI MCU. I have a MSP432P401R custom board. ALso I have MSP-FETFlash Enumalation tool. I have connected this enumalator (14 pin connector) to the MSP432 J-TAg pins. Unfortunately I am unable to see the device in Keil microvision tool. I have uniflash installed on my desktop. There I can see the MCU name but Im unable to go furthur. Do I need to use any other softwares?.
Also I wanted to connect the Bluetooth to the MSP432 and flash the firmware to BLE RAM via MSP432. How can I achieve this?.Thank you.
Hello,
I would recommend referencing the User's guide which discusses the FET and the adapter. Specifically for the microvision IDE, please see section 6 of this document. This states that the FET is not included/tested successfully with the IDE. You will need to confirm compatibility with Kiel to see if the FET has been added.
For the firmware download you are describing you would need to identify the interconnect, SPI, UART, I2C? This will determine which example you should look for in resource explorer.
Regards,
Chris
Hi Chris,
Thank you for your message. I decided to test the FET. I have started an blinky project on https://dev.ti.com/ide online IDE.
I have connected the FET to my custom board. When I run the code it showing an error.
