Hello everyone i have black launchpad that bought back then it was working fine, in codecomposer 7, the longtime i did practce cause i was on another project when i come back i installed the latest Codecomposer V9 when i started it the first time it detect my launchepad then it asked for update i thought that was good thing to do but the led goes of then nothing even in my computer device manager there's nothing related to launchpad. while i trying this waht i got as error.

firmware update, invalid XDS110 serial number, or faulty USB
cable. The firmware and serial number may be updated using the

CCS dropped support for the Black (Rev 1) Launchpad some time around v8.2. I recall a more targeted message, something like "The Rev 1.x Launchpad is no longer supported" but maybe it looks different now.

Whether or not that's what your specific symptom is about, I expect that you won't be able to use your Launchpad, and will have to buy a new (Red) one. If it makes you feel any better, I've got 4-5 of the things floating around here somewhere.
