CCS/BOOST-DRV8711: DRV8711 boost pack with MSP430G2 Launchpad for stepper motor

Hi all,

I am having MSP430G2 Launchpad and DRV8711 boost pack to run the stepper motor.

I am using CCS10.0.0.00010

I downloaded the reference files (application and GUI) from the website

https://www.ti.com/tool/BOOST-DRV8711

As mentioned in the DRV8711 user guide, I used method 2 for importing the ccs project and downloaded to MSP430 Launchpad. This is fine no issue noticed during application loading.

Now I want to open the GUI composer, where it is?

In CCS, view->GUI composer->Designer (Online) is only available. In that if I select the "import existing project and select BOOST-DRV8711_GUIv1.0.exe" it shows as

"FAILED TO EXTRACT PROJECT FILES. REASON: ERROR: INVALID SIGNATURE 0x905a4d"

Can anyone suggest how to run the stepper motor in following two conditions:

1) MSP430 Launchpad + DRV8711 boos pack  with GUI (ie GUI for setting the parameters and start stop command)

2) MSP430 Launchpad + DRV8711 boos pack  without GUI (ie In MSP code itself for setting the parameters and GPIO to start/STOP)
