For OCP time:

Please see the end of the thread: e2e.ti.com/.../344499 The OCP time for the DRV8843 is the same as the DRV8842.

For disable timing, can you clarify? Are you looking for the timing from OCP to disable or some other timing?

The OCP time value is not exist in the DRV8842 datasheet either.

But I found in the link that you sent me thet the value is 1.75uSec +-10%.

Is that correct?

In addition, the timing which all FETs in the H-bridge will be disabled and the nFAULT pin will be driven low is also not exist in the datasheet.

Please note the last entry in the link sent:

"I received new info from the device designer. The OCP deglitch time is typically 3.0us, and there is also roughly 400ns of propagation delay. So you can expect about 3.4us between overcurrent and when the device trips the fault."

You are correct; the OCP timing does not exist in the DRV8842 datasheet. But the timing listed above is the same for both the DRV8843 and DRV8842.

Does the statement above answer your question about the timing for fault?
