BQ24610: How to disable temperature check ?

Since, cut off high temperature is 34% of Vref and cold temperature cut off is 74% of Vref, can we use a voltage divider from Vref with 2 resistors as 5.1kOhm to disable the temperature sensing as it will be at 50% of Vref always ? Or are there any other methods of disabling temperature qualification checks ?
