Hi
Could you help recommend a battery charging IC that can charge 10A 3 in parallel and 1 in series The system and charging must be separated, and the system must be able to provide 5V output Buck or buck-boost architecture is acceptable
Hello Gareth,
What is the input voltage?
What is the battery voltage?
Do you need a standalone, or host controlled(I2C or SMBUS)?
system must be able to provide 5V output
If you need a 5V output, you will need either a 5V input( direct power path) or a 5V battery (NVDC)
Best Regards,
Christian.
Hi Christian
Thank you for your comment information as follows
What is the input voltage? 12V
What is the battery voltage? 4.2V
Do you need a standalone, or host controlled(I2C or SMBUS)? Standalone
Hello Gareth,
I think BQ24610 is a good fit for your requirements.
and the system must be able to provide 5V output
You will need a seperate DC/DC convertor to step the default system voltage down to the required 5V.

Christian.
Hi Christian.
Requirements: VBUS 5V input >Charger IC >PowerPath >SYS >Boost DC/DC > Vout 5V @3A Is it feasible for us to choose BQ25622E + TPS63806?
Hello Gareth,
I do not support BQ25622E or TPS63806, I recommend posting a new question related to these devices.
Best Regards,
Christian.
