Hi,
In going through the forums, there are several posts that indicate that in connecting DDR memory to the processor...
"you can swap bytes on the memory side, but you must take care to swap the associated signals - DQM, DQS and DQSn along with the byte they belong to. You can also freely swap bits within a byte, but not across different bytes."
I have a PCB where in connecting DDR3 memory to the AM3359, data bytes were swapped but the strobe & mask signals were not. Is there anything that can be done in processor configuration to fix this, or will this require a respin of the PCB?
Thanks,
Eric
Hi,
Sorry, this will require a respin of the PCB. It cannot be fixed by software.
