Hi,
Whenever I launch the code composer studio, it opens and immediately get closed. I don't know why it is happening. It might be because of the license issue. I am unable tp get the license for version 5.1. It is also not available on wiki page. Can you help me??
HI Namit,
could you please describe in more detail exactly what you are experiencing?
Have you been running CCS successfully? Or is this right after an installation? After an upgrade?
Best Regards,
Lisa
Hi Lisa,
I have installed CCSv5.1 in ubuntu 10.04. Now a launcher has been created on the desktop. As I click it, the CCS launches (loading eclipse, loading files etc and all that stuff), but then, CCS window opens for just say 2-3 seconds and then it closes down. So, I thought it might be happening because of license issue. So, I downloaded the license from TI website but it has provided me with CCSv4.0 license. Now, as the CCSv5.1 is not opening, so I couldn't activate the license via GUI. So, I went to wiki page and read the instructions there about activating the license via command terminal. But, I was unable to activate it because of the old license.
So, I was wondering where could get 90 days evaluation license for CCSv5.1??
Also, it might happen that i might have wrong idea. It could be that my CCSv5.1 is not opening because of some other issue. But as I open it, on the below left hand side it shows "unlicensed" and then it closes down.
Can you now help me??
Hi Namit,
no I do not suspect this is the licensing, but I would make sure you have all permissions correctly set and all needed dependencies and packages installed into your Ubuntu installation. Also, are you using a 64 bit version? If so you will need to install 32 bit support.
Please double check this as well as see the linux instructions below

Please keep us informed.
Best Regards,
Lisa
