I cant find this on any of the blogs so ill post here...
Under 4.1.1.00014 ccs (plat version) installed on vista 64 everything seems ok but when i goto project properties i get a blank window. i get the project type and config fields but theyre blank and the config setting window in completely blank. This happens on both arm and msp430 projects the same.
Projects build ok as long as the defaults work but i cant change anything like include directories etc..
Iv uninstalled, reinstalled , installed under program files (x86) as well as under c:\ itself, tried running with and without admin privs. nothing makes a difference...
Any ideas?
Hi John,
There is a known issue with CCSv4 and Windows 64-bit OS. The workaround described here sometimes helps but not for all cases:
There is also a another discussion regarding the same issue.

Do you have SetPoint installed? There's a know issue with Eclipse/SetPoint on 64bit machines.

nope no setpiont as far as i know. and the screens kinda look like that except obviously the screen shot was from a java system (no c builders etc)
i get the c builders and stuff on the left side menu but when i click on the one for "c/c++ build"the main pane goes blank like theres nothing there.

I was able to figure out how to get the main build options to appear. I posted a little video:

Yes, it's probably a result of the same Eclipse bug. There are several applications that cause this issue, not just setpoint. We'll keep investigating this isse; but in the mean time, hope the work-around suggested by Ki works for you.
