The ENETFOTA example demonstrates how Ethernet can be used to transfer a new application image from a host PC to an AM243x/AM64x device that is currently running an older application image. After the new application image is received successfully over Ethernet, the ENETFOTA example performs authentication of the image before programming it into the device’s flash memory.

Once authentication is completed successfully, an update status flag is set in non-volatile memory. During the subsequent warm software reset, the Secondary Bootloader (SBL) checks this flag and loads the appropriate application image accordingly

I  am starting a new project and want to use Sitara AM62x processor family in the design. Can you guide me in selecting the processor and list the relevant collaterals that I can refer during different phases on the custom board design to optimize the design efforts

1. Get the desired version of tidl firmware:
   1. Download according to edgeai-tidl-tools script: https://github.com/TexasInstruments/edgeai-tidl-tools/blob/master/docs/update_target.md. This only works if you did not change memory map. You should be able to obtain the download link from the scirpt like: 

      https://software-dl.ti.com/jacinto7/esd/tidl-tools/11_00_08_00/FIRMWARES/am69a/adas/11_0/firmware.tar.gz (You can change the version to others like 11_00_07_00, but not all versions are obtainable, you can change device name from am69a(tda4vh) to am68a(tda4veco, al, vl), am67a (tda4aen ven), am62a)

   2. Or build it from source if you have the source code of a certain c7x-mma-tidl. This is the only option if you modified memory map. The root folder of rtos sdk will be call RTOS_ROOT in the following part:
      1. cd RTOS_ROOT
      2. rm -rf c7x-mma-tidl
      3. ln -s -r (the certain version of c7x-mma-tidl) c7x-mma-tidl
      4. for devices except for j722s or am62a, ln -s -r pdkxxxxx(some version) pdk, for devices j722s or am62a, ln -s -r mcu_plus_sdkxxxx(some version) mcu_plus_sdk
      5. cd sdk_builder
      6. make sdk_scrub
      7. make sdk -j 
2. update your board with the firmware. Note all path below refers to target/evm/customboard. 
   1. in /lib/firmware/vision_apps_eaik(or vision_apps_evm), replace all vx_app_rtos_linux_c7x*
   2. in /usr/lib/, replace all libtidl_*, all libtivision_apps* , all libvx_tidl*
