Hi Matt,
Thanks for the reply.
I don't have package name. Customer seems able to change footprint.
As the advice from MSP team ( Link ), I picked up five options Here that fits condition a. and b below. And voltage applied to TVS diode is as below Electrical…
Hi Aied,
For GPIO, I would recommend ESD351. It is a 3.6 V unidirectional device with a 30 kV IEC 61000-4-2 ESD rating. Would this be sufficient for you?

Matt Smith
Part Number: SN74LVC2G34 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ESD351 Hi Team,
We are working with SN74LVC2G34 as a buffer for the TxD and RxD UART signals from the MCU to drive a cable between two boards separated by about 12 inches. The voltage is about 3…
Hi Eason,
Thanks for the reply.
From your advice for IO capacitance and leakage current, I narrowed down to three parts.

Hi Matt,
unfortunately TPD1E04U04 only has a 5.3 Vclamp rating at 1 A. At 16 A its rating from IO to GND is 8.9 V and this is higher than my ADC AMR. A quick comparison between TPD1E04U04 and ESD321 shows that at 16 A their Vclamp ratings are 8.9 and 6…
Hi Mr.Cameron,
Thanks for the response. In this case, we are using 2 x 3V battery, the operating voltage is 6V. We cannot use ESD351 or ESD321 please recommend ESD diode for the same.

Ashok
Hi Stefano,
We actually may have some clamping solutions for you, but only if it is possible for the standoff voltage to be 3.6V.
The ESDS302 and ESD304 devices are 12A surge rated dual and quad channel devices that clamp at 6V. For a 25A version, we have the…
Part Number: TCA8418 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ESD351 , ESDS312 Hi team,
Does TI have I2C GPIO Expander with 8kV ESD Protection?
I found TCA8418, but I think It is not right part for this requirement.
My customer's requests hand-solderable device…
Hello,
I do not have access to UL639. However the typical standard for ESD is IEC61000-4-2 but that RC equivalent is 330ohm 150pF. I believe the set up that you are describing is more closer to HBM which has 2kOHm so that pulse will be lower.
I would…
