LMC6001: LMC6001 and LMC6008 between different channel , but same function?

Part Number: LMC6001
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN74LVC541A, SN74AHC244

Hi, Support Team

LMC6001 and LMC6008 between different channel , but same function?

if yes. as we know LMC6008 is very old parts, Could suggest similar function with LMC6008 solution?

Vcc: 3.3V or 5V , input PWM signal for 8 channel. for FAN control application.

By the way SN74AHC244 or SN74LVC541A could support PWM buffer?

If any suggestion, Please advise me.

Thanks,

Best regards,

Lawrence

  • Hi Lawrence,

Looks like this is specifically for a logic/PWM signal, correct?  The LMC6001 is very different, it is a low bias current amplifier.

I'll loop you with the team that supports the SN74 devices, I think they will have more insight here.

  • Hi Lawrence,

By the way SN74AHC244 or SN74LVC541A could support PWM buffer?

Yes, any logic buffer could be used for buffering a digital PWM signal. A logic buffer shouldn't be used to directly drive a fan, but it could be used for the control signals. Can you be more specific in what you need?

    What is the input signal?

What is the frequency of operation?

    What is the load?
