Part Number: LM124A

I need a manufacturer c of c with this part, so should contact one of the distributor, can they order LM124AJ to TI?

When I check TI store, no stock now so can you check a production plan? When I can buy this part?

    Hello Ray,

    TI has LM124AJ in stock and you should be able to order from one of the authorized distributors shown on ti.com.

    The LM124AJ is an industrial grade product. To get a c of c, you would need to order a mil grade product.

    The mil grade products are shown under the LM124A for product of TI origin and LM124AQML for product of National Semiconductor origin.

    Thanks for the reply, but I just want to ask additional  question.

    1. Do you have any new production plans after the stock is sold out in the future? Please let me know if there is a discontinuation for LM124AJ.

    2. If I need c of c with this part, should I order LM124AJ/PB instead LM124AJ, because LM124AJ is an industrial geade as you said and Our engineers want to use same part of LM124AJ as before. LM124AJ has been

    approved by our engineers as a suitable part of our project.

    Hi Ray,

    Avnet is incorrect on all accounts.   We do have stock for the LM124AJ and it is not going to be discontinued.   I just double checked and we do have 8000 units in inventory.

    We continually produce new product to have so that we have enough in inventory to match the run rate of the product.

    If you use anouther authorized distributor, I would suggest checking with them.   In the meantime, I will forward the issues you are having with Avent to our marketing people who should be able to straighten this out.

    The LM124AJ and LM124AJ/PB are two different die, the first from TI and the second from National, which TI acquired in 2011. Neither of them are mil or space grade products, so you won't be able to get a c of c with either.

    To get a c of c, you will need to order a mil or space grade part. To get the same die as the LM124AJ, see the Order Now tab in the LM124A product page. The mil grade version of the LM124AJ is 7704302CA.
