RCV420: Can RCV420 be used with AC current input.

Part Number: RCV420

I have a very small AC current, can RCV420 be used to get the proportional output.
If not which TI part can fulfil this requirement.

    Hi Dev,

    Thank you for your question. How small is your AC current? What is your desired output? We may be able to do this with and Instrumentation Amp but I need know know the input / output requirements first.

    Hi Dev,

    I would guess that the RCV420 is optimized for currents between 4...20mA, or by other words currents in the milliampere range. If your current is much much smaller than this current range, then I would think that the RCV420 less suited for your application and that you should follow the recommendation given by Tamara.

    Hi Tamara,

    Following is my configuration:

    Current is between 4mA to 20mA. and maximum voltage corresponding to this we want is 5V
