Hello,
We have a problem about TMDSHVMTRPFCKIT. Week ago we installed ccs and run sample codes. Then, something happend and we got usb problem. Computer couldnt recognize drivers. I just re-install drivers(I believe, I did it right). I realize M3- LD1 doesn't turn on. When I try to debug, I got Error -151.
The value is '-151' (0xffffff69). The title is 'SC_ERR_FTDI_OPEN'.
The explanation is: One of the FTDI driver functions used during the connect returned bad status or an error. The cause may one or more of: invalid emulator serial number, blank emulator EEPROM, missing FTDI drivers, faulty USB cable. Use the xds100serial command-line utility in the 'common/uscif' folder to verify the emulator can be located.
I'm new at this. Please help me.
I'm using Win7-64bit and CCS 5.3.0
Hello!
At first I would recommend you this link http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/XDS100#Installation_for_Code_Composer_Studio_v3.3_.28XDS100v1_Hardware_Only.29 (mainly Troubleshooting).
Sometimes it is useful to reinstall CCS also.

Igor
Hi,
Do go through that doc but did you check with another PC?

Hi,
In addition to the answers provided by Igor and Gautam, can you check the threads below? They may help you further investigating this:

I recall having some trouble in the past to connect to this board due not only to jumper configurations, but also with proper power to the circuits (in my case, I was trying to use an external emulator but it required to power up the isolation circuits via USB). Therefore please be sure you carefully inspect the jumper and power configurations of your development kit - maybe something changed during your development.
Hope this helps,
Rafael
Thank you,
I try to re-instal ccs, but it didn't work. Then I realize XDS100 does not show up in the Windows device manager.
From Igor's link, I found this: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/XDS100#Troubleshooting
I just contact with my manufacturer. Usb connector's oscilloscope values are unexpected. I couldn't remember the module now.
