Q: TPS61060: Can ILED (pin3) be floating? by 1004451
Can ILED pin of TPS61060 be floating? On page 10, tps61060 datasheet talks about using Enable pin to PWM dim. The customer has ILED floating, see pg 4 of attached schematic. The datasheet does not specifically mentione that ILED pin cannot be floating.
On apps note: TPS61060/61/62 single-wire digital brightness control, the schematic shows EN and ILED connected together for digital brightness control.
Please confirm if we can leave ILED floating?

The TPS61060 ILED pin is a digital input and must be terminated either high or low. Leaving this pin floating may result in the IC detecting a logic high or alogic low input.
